Nick Fillas is the founder of Penta Restoration Corp. As such he remains active in strategic planning and advising in the restoration, rehabilitation and structural aspects of the business. Nick was born in Greece and moved to NY in 1974 in search of the American dream and found his home in the construction industry. Since the early 1970’s, Nick has worked on some of the most prominent buildings in NYC and has assisted in solving some of the most complex structural and coordination issues in many projects over his tenure. He has developed a stellar reputation with many architects, engineers, owners representatives and private ownership through his hard work and dedication to completing projects on time and within budget.

Christopher Fillas is a principal and the President of The Penta Group. His responsibilities include developing, negotiating and monitoring all projects, funding, staffing for upper management and organizing/executing a variety of construction projects.

Mr. Fillas started in the construction industry at the age of 18 working part time for Penta Restoration as he studied in college. He spent most of his early days learning about the business with hands-on training. His ability to understand and service the clients’ needs helped Mr. Fillas establish solid relationships with owners, architects, engineers and owners’ representatives which propelled him into other facets of the industry. At the age of 26, he started to develop a loyal customer base which helped him expand to larger restoration projects, full rehabs, new construction projects and overall construction management of major developments.

Aside from his business, Mr. Fillas is involved with several non-profits and charities. Some of these organizations include the CHIAN FEDERATION which aids and assists with philanthropic causes and Kats Ribbon of Hope, which raises money for breast cancer research and patient navigation.

George Raptis is Principal and Director of Operations of The Penta Group. George oversees all day to day aspects and functions of the company as well as being responsible to direct all field and project management operations during construction.

George recently joined Penta from a background in managing construction and development on both affordable and market rate projects. Prior to joining Penta, George worked for another general contractor for almost 20 years gaining knowledge and experience in every aspect of the business. He studied and graduated from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 2003 with a degree in Civil Engineering.

George is also a founder and serves as chairman of Kat's Ribbon of Hope, a charity dedicated to providing financial support for breast cancer research and patient navigation.
